ANNUAL LETTER
A Year of Bold Moves
They say hindsight is 20/20, but what a year we just had in 2020! It was the year of the
pandemic, interest rates dropping to all-time lows, the stock market hitting all-time
highs and lots of time at home with our families.
I kicked off (what started as a normal year) in Atlanta with a speaking engagement to
industry leading financial advisors where I spoke about running an effective practice and
serving clients. As the world soon shut down, we navigated through a volatile market
and shifted our conversations from in-person to Zoom and phone calls.
Later in the year, we saw our long-time partner, KMS Financial Services, merge into
another company. This accelerated our decision to form an SEC registered RIA, where
we are proud to serve you as a fiduciary in all aspects of your financial life.

2021 marks my 20 year in financial services- and it’s been quite an incredible ride. The
sophistication of our firm has led to many articles being written in industry publications
about the select clientele we serve and thoughtfulness in choosing our partners for
banking, estate, investments, taxes and insurance. As we continue building and refining
our strategies, I think of the famous quote by Leonardo da Vinci,
“Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication”
Growing Our Team to Serve You
Shannon and Chelsea joined Renee and I over the past year in specific roles to grow
and protect your wealth holistically in the six areas of planning. As our team continues
to evolve and grow, we will have a continued single-minded focus to make a positive
impact in your life.
2021 and Beyond
The next few years, tax rates, interest rates and inflation will all trend upward. Estate
and gift limits will likely trend downward. Through all these changes, we will be there
to guide and create solutions & strategies for you to succeed.
